Bisham abbey wedding photography Last Friday saw the first of five weddings this month – Clare and Stuart’s wedding at Bisham Abbey near Marlow in Berkshire and home to one of the National Sports Centres. Indeed the last time I was at Bisham was to photograph another England football team training session before another disappointing tournament. But Bisham Abbey itself is a Grade I listed manor house, named after a monastery that used to be on the same spot. It is situated next to the river Thames. It felt like Autumn – actually, almost like winter – rather than Spring and Easter. But the Sun did make an appearance, just as we were finishing up the engagement shoot for Zoe and Andy. Wedding photography in 2011 A last post for the year, my wedding photography in 2011. An interesting year for many reasons. For one, this new website (and new domain name) is now twelve months old but is still frankly a work in progress – some tweaks to come in the New Year. (Any constructive suggestions welcome!) Reportage wedding photography at a Peasant pub wedding This Saturday saw Mary and Lewis’s London wedding. With preparations at their home in E14, it was a taxi ride to the ceremony in the council chamber of Hackney Town Hall and check out the light in there! Light like that is a gift if it falls in the right place and it did. This was a wedding from start to finish at Nutfield Priory. From bridal prep, to Mike waiting in the ceremony room. From the ceremony to drinks inside (not the best weather day).
