Ockenden Manor Wedding | Sussex Wedding Photography

Ockenden Manor wedding photography Ockenden Manor, an Elizabethan manor house in Cuckfield, West Sussex and now a luxury hotel and spa – the venue for two wedding ceremonies. One inside, one outside – thanks to the weather. A matter of days after their marriage in South Korea, Phoebe ( Seunghui Chai ) and Andrew held a humanist ceremony, to mark their marriage, with family and close friends at Ockenden Manor.Grade II listed and dating from 1520 – Ockenden is how you imagine a luxury hotel, in such an old building, should be. Tythe Barn wedding

Tythe Barn wedding A Tythe Barn wedding. The luxuriously renovated Tythe Barn near Bicester in Oxfordshire, under largely glorious blue skies. What is a Tythe or Tithe Barn? From the Middle Ages, they were where produce was stored, with a percentage going to the landlord in payment, usually The Church. What if it rains? Does it ruin wedding photography? Everyone dreams of a warm summer wedding, beautiful light pouring across the reception lawn. The photographer in the fashion-lens-flare-nostalgia mode…

Wedding at The Elvetham – Jane and Tony

Elvetham hotel wedding photography This first image might sum up the weather, for this Hampshire wedding. Rain was in the sky but fortunately this wedding at The Elvetham hotel dodged the any big downpour, despite the dark clouds overhead. There is a phrase about a couple ‘looking right together’, this has to apply to this bride and groom, Jane and Tony. Just look at the way they look at each other, especially during the wedding ceremony! You can only really capture that when a church lets the photographer stand at the front. Plus the church is nicely lit by daylight.…
