Thatch barn wedding A warm day in Cambridgeshire, in the small village of Yelling, just east of St Neots. A wedding with a church wedding and where the reception was held directly opposite, in the Thatch Barn. Just a walk across the road. How simple is that? Glastonbury wedding I’ve shot many weddings on very hot days over the years, but this is easily in the top ten, even in the top five, maybe? Ironically, the wedding I shot last year in Greece was warm, but nowhere near the heat that was in a field near Glastonbury this July. Bandstand wedding in Brighton The bandstand on Brighton seafront. Dating from 1884, it is widely hailed as one of the best examples of a Victorian bandstand still in the country. Its original purpose was to provide a shady spot for ladies to escape the summer sun. It is now a popular venue for an intimate wedding ceremony – although you need good weather! Medley Walled Garden Wedding Photography Medley Walled Garden lies on the western edge of Oxford, right beside the River Thames. Part of Medley Manor Farm, one of only three working farms in Oxford, which is well known locally for its pick-your-own soft fruits and vegetables. A Grade II listed farmhouse with a big barn for the wedding meal and dancing, and a cosy Calf Shed for a wedding ceremony. The after-wedding party Drag queens, something new at a wedding party that I’ve shot. Technically, the after-wedding party, day three of wedding celebrations on the island of Tinos. Back to the beach, at the Odera hotel, in the afternoon, for a ceremony amidst fake ruined Greek columns and two thrones, there was an ancient Greek Gods and Goddesses theme. The wedding day Day Two for this wedding in Greece, on the island of Tinos. The ‘wedding day’ – a ceremony on the beach, and then a big party overlooking the sea. All at the five-star Odera Tinos hotel. The wind? It was still strong and unabating. It meant a bit of tweaking to the timing of the day. Wedding in Greece: Day One A Destination wedding in Greece, on the Cycladic island of Tinos – a short ferry ride from the more famous holiday island of Mykonos. Three days of wedding celebration for Olia & Jeremy. They had done the legal ceremony, with a small reception, in London a few months previously. Every wedding has a budget; this one was massive!
