Weddings in 2025

Weddings in 2025, just like 2024, kicked off in May.

Weddings in Sussex, Surrey, Bath, Manchester, Hampshire, Somerset, Kent, London and a three-day wedding on the Greek island of Tinos. (Some photos from that in this post, but look out for the full post on that wedding, here soon!) Wedding ceremonies and receptions in fields, barns, churches, hotels, registry offices, a castle, private gardens, schools, a golf club, restaurants and on a beach.

Weddings in 2025 began with an open-air ceremony atop a hill in South Gloucestershire and ended at the registry office of Chelsea Town Hall. Some small weddings with small budgets, to one three-day wedding with a budget that must have been in the hundreds of thousands of £s… I had only shot at four venues before (for all those enquiries seemingly obsessed that their wedding photographer has shot at a venue before…). One wedding was for the mother of a 2014 groom, held in the same Sussex church. In July, I photographed the wedding of a photographer (now therapist) after photographing her first wedding, twenty-five years ago. (Shot on film back then). I also shot a wedding in a Sussex church, where I first took pictures at a wedding. I was on the photojournalism course at The London College of Printing, and as an exercise, I shadowed a wedding photographer who shot a wedding there. He was a part-time wedding photographer; his day job was as a Police Motorcyclist. The closest wedding of the year was just six miles from my house. The furthest, over 1500 miles away, as the crow flies, on a Greek island.

So here are few images from weddings in 2025. Towards the end, you’ll see something you don’t see often…drag queens at the wedding party…a few images from 2025…but as for 2026, so far bookings for weddings in places such as Sussex, Surrey, Somerset, Oxford, Cambridge, London, Brighton, and Wales.
