This last weekend saw two weddings with a Greek connection.
First off on Friday, a rare local wedding for me, a Horsham wedding, a wedding in my town. Kay and Spiro’s small wedding at St Mary’s church in the centre of Horsham was followed by a reception at the nearby Mannings Heath golf club.
Our current May weather was hardly welcoming to Spiro’s Greek relatives – feeling more like a bitterly cold day in March. Not that Kay’s Scottish relatives would have found it Spring like either. Plans to have the reception drinks on the terrace at the golf club were shelved, with everyone huddling in the bar amongst those enjoying the 19th hole.
Here are a few images from the day, a reduced coverage, from arrival at the church to when everyone sat down for the wedding meal..
