In the past few weeks I have had two of my weddings from last year featured on wedding blogs/sites.
First off was Anna and James’s London wedding from last May. A wedding ceremony around the corner from their house in Putney, South-west London followed by a riverboat reception on the Thames. Then the meal and party at the Westminster Boating House. This was featured on the site TheWedding Vine – “ TheWeddingVine.com is an indispensible wedding resource devoted to discerning, style conscious brides to help plan and inspire the wedding of their dreams. From amazing venues to top photographers, fabulous floral creations, amazing cakes and more, our handpicked directory of first class wedding suppliers enables you to find exactly what you are looking for with ease and know that, at TheWeddingVine.com, you will only find the best.”
You can find this wedding under the Real weddings sections entitled Wedding Celebrations on the river Thames
The other wedding featured on one of the UK’s foremost wedding blogs, if not THE foremost in terms of numbers and influence – Rock My Wedding.
The blog describes itself .…”Launched in October 2009, Rock My Wedding was created by Charlotte O’Shea, a newly-wed with a passion for the pretty and the realisation that UK brides would benefit from a frequently updated on-line resource featuring achievable and unique Big Day inspiration.
Rock My Wedding aims to bring soon-to-be-brides a wealth of ideas through fresh and innovative content, daily “real wedding” eye candy and access to the Industry’s most desirable vendors.
We believe in Love. We believe in the Happily Ever After. And most importantly We believe in making your day your way.”
The wedding featured was the last from 2012 – it was on New Year’s Eve and it’s a special one – in a seaside cinema. It was recently described by a seriously good wedding photographer as “…I think my favourite wedding I saw all year, from any photographer”. Stacey & Jono’s wedding at the Dome Cinema in Worthing. You’ll find it here in the Real wedding section, under the sub-category ‘ Contemporary Cool ‘.
Check out the film made by Stacey & Jono and which was projected onto the big screen midway during the ceremony in the Grade II listed cinema.
